Testifying against Shrien Dewani, Monde Mbolombo admits he lied in 2012 trial at which Xolile Mngeni was convicted

The South African man found guilty of shooting Anni Dewani dead was convicted on partially false evidence, a key prosecution witness to Shrien Dewanis murder trial has said.

Testifying on Thursday for the prosecution against the murder-accused Briton, Monde Mbolombo admitted that he had lied in the previous trial in 2012 at which gangster Xolile Mngeni was convicted of Anni Dewanis murder.
