Kipsang and Keitany win New York marathon clean sweep for Kenya

Wilson Kipsang has now won Berlin, London and NYC races in 13 months, while Mary Keitany edged out countrywoman Jemima Sumgong in final yards

The Kenyans Wilson Kipsang and Mary Keitany have won the mens and womens titles at Sundays New York City marathon.

Former world-record holder Kipsang won in an unofficial time of 2hr, 10min, 59sec. He has now won in Berlin, London and New York in just over 13 months. Ethiopias Lelisa Desisa was second, and 2010 champ Gebre Gebremariam third.
