Bulgarian fugitive arrested in Seattle area Oct 21st 2013, 23:40, by By Associated Press, Associated Press SEATTLE — U.S. authorities have arrested a Bulgarian fugitive described as the driver of a cargo truck in which 18 people died during a stiflingly hot journey. Bulgarian officials are seeking the extradition of Plamen Vladimirov Trifonov, and U.S. authorities responded to that request by arresting the 58-year-old last week in Kirkland, a Seattle suburb.
