CLAYTON, Calif. — A wildfire burning in a San Francisco Bay Area wilderness park is growing, forcing more people to leave their homes and leading to a smoke advisory for area residents.
The blaze in Mount Diablo State Park spread to nearly 6 square miles this afternoon.
Fire officials say it is 20 percent contained as hot temperatures and wind gusts fueled the fire's spread.
