EASTON, Pa. — A Pennsylvania woman is being held without bail after authorities say she gave birth to a baby then left him to die in a sports bar toilet.
Amanda Catherine Hein was arraigned Monday on a single count of criminal homicide in the death of the baby discovered in the pub's bathroom last week.
Court documents say the 26-year-old Allentown woman admitted giving birth to the baby boy, wrapping him in a plastic bag from a garbage container and placing him in the toilet tank. Authorities say she had not told anyone she was pregnant.
