Cops: Alligator found in NY park, living in a pond Aug 18th 2013, 00:28, by By Associated Press, Associated Press MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. — A nearly two-foot-long alligator living in the pond of a suburban New York City park has been captured and sent to a reptile rehabilitation preserve in Massachusetts. The Journal News reports Saturday The unnamed reptile was captured by police and officers form the state's Environmental Conservation Police Friday.
