U.S. expands Syrian opposition aid Apr 20th 2013, 23:47 The United States will double its nonlethal assistance to the Syrian opposition, as well as provide additional humanitarian aid to the Syrian people, Secretary of State John Kerry said in a statement. The $123 million package also expands direct military assistance to the armed opposition, the statement said.
